Terms of Service for iLife World

This store sells digital books and downloads, print books, the game Ebonyopoly, and the VIP Day, which is described below. Prices are shown on each product page in United States dollars. [DEFAULT: If a price is ever shown wrong by an obvious error, we may cancel that order and refund it in full rather than honor the wrong price.]

Payment is processed by Stripe. When your payment goes through, your order is accepted and we begin fulfilling it. Digital products are delivered as described below. Print products are printed and shipped by our print partners.

[DEFAULT: Digital books and downloads are delivered by a download link sent to the email address you used at checkout.] Save your file when it arrives, because links can expire and inboxes can eat mail. If your link does not arrive or the file will not open, email us and we will send a working copy. That is covered in the Refund Policy. A digital purchase gives you the file for your own reading and household use. It does not give you the right to resell the file, post it publicly, or hand it out to people who did not buy it.

[DEFAULT: Print books and products are made when you order them and shipped by print partners. Most orders ship within five to ten business days, and delivery time after that depends on where you live.] If an order arrives damaged or is the wrong item, the Refund Policy covers it.

Ebonyopoly is a physical board game sold at $75. It ships like other print products. Game rules travel with the box.

The VIP Day costs $2,400. It is a four hour intensive, one on one with Ebony, held by video call [DEFAULT: unless a different arrangement is made in writing]. Buying a VIP Day buys the session itself. Scheduling comes next by email within one business day of purchase. You will receive an email offering times, and your day is set once you confirm a time in reply. [DEFAULT: If you do not answer the scheduling email, we will follow up twice, and the session stays available to schedule for ninety days from purchase. After ninety days unscheduled, the purchase converts to a credit toward other products or a later VIP Day.] What happens inside the session, including advice about your business or your life, is guidance from experience. It is not legal, tax, medical, or licensed financial advice, and it does not guarantee any result.

This site is the reading and store side of the work. Speaking bookings and organizational programs live at ebonyinnovates.com and are arranged through its contact form under separate written terms once a date and a fee are agreed. Nothing bought in this store books Ebony to speak.

The four color framework, the books, the decks, the games, and everything else sold or shown on this site belong to Ebony L. Noir and EBONY INNOVATES. Buying a book or a game gives you that copy to enjoy and use in your own home or work. It does not give you the right to copy the text, reprint it, teach the framework as your own program, or use the names and artwork to sell your own products. Short quotes with credit for reviews and honest discussion are welcome and always have been.

[DEFAULT: If a part of this site ever asks you to create an account, keep your password to yourself and give true information.] We may refuse or cancel an order that is fraudulent, that abuses a download, or that is placed to resell digital files. If we ever cancel for those reasons after payment, we refund the payment.

We work hard to make these products good and to describe them honestly. Still, the law asks for a plain statement of limits, so here it is. Our responsibility for any claim connected to this site or a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for the product involved. We are not responsible for indirect losses, like lost profits or missed opportunities, that come from using or not being able to use a product. Nothing in these terms limits a responsibility that Texas law says cannot be limited. The books carry ideas and guidance. What you do with them is your decision, and results in a life or a business are never promised by a book.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. [DEFAULT: Any dispute that cannot be settled by a direct conversation will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Harris County, Texas.]

If these terms change, the new version goes on this page with a new effective date. The terms that apply to your order are the ones in place when you bought.
